Twenty years ago, handling a business took a lot of paperwork. You had to balance books by hand and keep track of a lot of paper receipts and records. I knew a lot of people who were business owners when I was younger. They had file after file of information and huge binders stored all over the place. These days, it is not like this anymore. Very little work is actually done on paper. Most people do most of their book keeping on the computer and just save files instead of papers. This takes up so much less space. Additional new technologies are making business even easier. For example, wireless credit card processing is making it even easier and faster to pay for your purchases. There are a lot of businesses that are starting to offer this option and they usually benefit by attracting more customers. People love technology and prefer companies that use it.
