At age 60, my mom decided that she was not going to be left behind when it came to technology. She went out and bought herself a smartphone (which took her 3 months to learn how to use), and a new computer (I won’t say what kind, but it does have a fruit on it). The computer and the internet proved to be a bit much for her, so she decided to take a couple of classes at our local college. She’s now the technology queen. At least in our house. She’s learned how to create music and videos. She’s even learned how to use other websites as a means to store files on her computer. While I had heard the name of it before, I had never actually used megaupload before. My mother walked me through how she stored her little movies clips there. I’m actually quite proud of everything she has accomplished.
